Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION
The Clinical Education Coordinator provides project management and support for the Clinical Education Department leadership team and clinical educators in work activities that assist in establishing and facilitating the exchange of clinical education throughout the organization to accomplish individual, facility and system goals.
  • Prioritizes and organizes work for maximum productivity without sacrificing quality to ensure projects and department initiatives are completed timely.
  • Participates in the maintenance of data for all department dashboards.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, resourcefulness and consistently follows through on assigned work with minimal supervision. Displays initiative by acting independently; recognizing potential problems and intervening to offset adverse impact.
  • Coordinates the assembly of materials for and aids in the completion of reports, surveys, evaluations database, and LMS management.
  • Maintains payroll for department under the supervision of the Department Manager/ Director,
  • Support assembly and distribution of program materials for department programs and initiatives.
  • Assists in scheduling meetings and events and serves as point of contact for room reservation for system.
  • Assists with the marketing of professional development projects by creating electronic flyers, announcements and publications.
  • Serves as resource to department by answering the phone and assists customers visiting the department.
  • Manages department charge payment system for courses, books, no charge fees, and other department fees.
  • Assists in the CNA program processes (enrollment, course preparation)
  • Orders and maintains supplies and equipment.
  • Creates and manages files, provide document support for Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word formatting) and creates PDF portfolios for programs.
  • Provide program support including sending invitations, monitoring attendance, travel, audio-visual, set-up/management of conference rooms and other program event logistics.
  • Communicates with department team members effectively; relaying essential information in a helpful and timely manner. Retaining confidentiality is of utmost importance.
  • Demonstrates willingness to be a team player through mutual respect and cooperation with others.
  • Maintains confidential information through evaluating the "need to know" status of others as well as the ethical and legal implications.
  • Projects a professional image by maintaining behavior appropriate to the situation as well as a neat personal appearance.
  • Actively serves on committees and provides support for department initiatives as directed.
  • Provides assistance with the Learning Management System duties of the Clinical Education Department.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    High School Diploma or GED Required. A graduate of Associate Degree Program or business related degree is preferred with two to four years past secretarial experience. Clerical experience in a healthcare setting is desirable. Must be proficient in all aspects of secretarial skills including, but not limited to typing, filing, and dictation. Must be able to compose correspondence using proper sentence structure, grammar, spelling and punctuation. Excellent public relations and problem solving skills are necessary. Must have strong computer skills and proficiency and the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
