We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiologic Technologist to provide staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, and change agent. You will Function as advisor and subject matter expert to technologist staff members, clinical units, nurse educators and administration. You will Facilitate the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessments and continuing education. You will manage and analyze monthly operational and quality metrics/statistics and assures internal and external quality standards are met.

As a successful candidate, you will:
  • Develops, implements, evaluates, and maintains effective and cost efficient Educational/Professional Development programs, including but not limited to Clinical Orientation, Professional Students, Professional Development, and Continuing Education to address patient population specific clinical care
  • Coordinates/oversight orientation and integration of new associates with preceptors and in the provision of orientation content.
  • Identifies educational needs for the hospital utilizing annual needs assessments, Performance Improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice guidelines, revisions to policies and procedures, area-based research, new technologies and early trend identification from recommendations from RCAs. Develops, coordinates, and maintains required learning and initial/on-going competency validation and records.
  • Develops individualized education plan and provides opportunity for Associate's professional performance/development in collaboration with department leadership including performance appraisal and performance plan.




Your qualifications should include:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Three years' experience in Radiology

Required Certification/Licensure:
  • BLS
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology certification(s) (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • California Radiologic Technology Certification (CRT) or California Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (CNMT) as indicated by area in which the employee was trained
