The role you'll contribute:

Maintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Program. Supervises biomedical technicians, and is responsible for workload management, overseeing shop operations and ensuring timely performance of maintenance activities. As needed, performs a variety of tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex biomedical equipment. The individual demonstrates adherence to the AdventHealth service standards. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you'll bring to the team:
  • Establishes work priorities and provides daily supervision and support to all assigned staff.
  • Supervises and occasionally performs installation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of clinical equipment.
  • Supervises scheduled maintenance and electrical safety inspections. May also perform such duties as needed.
  • Supervises, coordinates, and evaluates the work performed by service contractors to include maintenance, calibration, installation, and verification of service documentation.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • Associate degree in a related field of study or equivalent technical experience AND
  • Six years of experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment
  • Valid state driver's license and driving record in accordance with AdventHealth policy; variable travel requirements depending on primary site that may require use of personal vehicle with liability insurance.
