Clinical Financial Strategy Consultant (Remote)

Piper Companies is searching for an experienced Clinical Financial Strategy Consultant to join a leading medical device company to assist in streamlining the financial analysis, budget development and financial forecasting processes for clinical trial studies and projects. This is a full-time, remote opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Financial Strategy Consultant:
• Assist with the creation, administration and overall management of study budget activities
• Streamline and create budget development SOPs for medical device studies
• Develop and maintain a library of costs for budget development
• Create a system to consistently report trial budget variances on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Own internal initial study budget approval process

Qualifications of the Clinical Financial Strategy Consultant:
• Previous experience with clinical trial budget and SOP creation
• In-depth understanding of cost variance and financial risk management in clinical trials
• Significant experience with clinical trial budget creation
• Expertise in financial planning or accounting within clinical research and clinical trials
• Project management experience a plus

Compensation of the Clinical Financial Strategy Consultant:
• Salary: $55/hr - $65/hr dependent on overall experience
