GENERAL SUMMARY: The Manager shares responsibility across all practice settings to assist teams in understanding how best to integrate the voice of clinical staff with decisions, design of work through the use of data and optimization of the technology in the clinical environment. This role involves complex work that ensures optimal patient care and outcomes by leveraging technology to support and guide care delivery in all setting. They support a foundation of informatics understanding through a team of decentralized super users who have familiarity with workflows, technology platforms and EMRs. They serve as a liaison between clinical and information technology teams across the NY region supporting bi-directional communication and decision-making. They ensure that current and future clinical information systems are consistent with clinical standards of care met the needs of the NY region. They are involved in organizational and network committees as well as works closely with Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Information Officer, UMVHN Leaders and other members of affiliate's management teams' to support and guide members of the care team. Serving as a leader of a matrixed team that includes CVPH and AHMC.QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Skills Required:1.Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Masters preferred.2.Licensed NYS Registered Nurse required.As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
