Position Summary
The University at Buffalo, Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences is now accepting applications for full-time Clinical Instructor of Exercise Science. We encourage applications from candidates who are historically underrepresented in academia. This is a 10-month, non-tenure track position and will begin in August 2023.

About the Department:
The Department of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences is one of the academic units in the School of Public Health & Health Professions. There are well-established research programs and excellent facilities available within the Department and School. The Department offers a BS in Exercise Science, a BS in Nutrition Sciences, a BS/MS in Exercise Nutrition, an MS in Clinical Nutrition leading to the Registered Dietitian credential, an MS degree in Athletic Training, MS degrees in Nutrition and Exercise Science, and PhD degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition. The Department is home to the Center for Research and Education in Special Environments ( CRESE ), which is a state of the art facility for performing research at altitude, depth, and extremes of temperature.

Position Summary

- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the exercise science program
- Provide academic and career guidance/mentoring to students and teaching assistants
- participate in service activities that contribute to the advancement of the department (e.g., Department, School, University, and Professional organizations)
- Participate in departmental research when appropriate

- An earned doctorate in exercise science, kinesiology, physiology, or related field
- Evidence of teaching experience in exercise science or closely related areas
