Position Summary
The Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track instructor to teach undergraduate and graduate classes in strategic management.
Detailed Position Information
The Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track instructor. The position holder will primarily teach undergraduate and graduate classes in strategic management. Responsibilities also include service components like sponsoring student activity groups, serving on department, college, and/or university level committees, and supporting the mission of the Management Department, the College and University.

Experience in strategic management is essential. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Teaching undergraduate and graduate level Strategic Management courses - Teaching other Management courses as necessary to support the mission of the Management Department - Actively engaging in service activities supporting the mission of the Management Department, the College and University.
Minimum Qualifications
Five years of experience in strategic management or a related position, and at least a master's degree in business or a related field with significant graduate coursework in business-related disciplines. Candidates with a management/business related Ph.D., DBA, or JD are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in private or public sector work (i.e., community development). Previous university teaching experience. Strong collaborative skills, the ability to multitask and mentor college students, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
