Summary
This hybrid 0.5 FTE position is dedicated to 340B Program support. As a member of our highly dedicated 340B team, you will assist the Pharmacy Assistant Director, 340B Program with strategic decision-making and oversight of the system-wide 340B program. In this role, you will apply your 340B Program knowledge and expertise to work with internal and external stakeholders to communicate and advance the University of Michigan Health's mission to care for the underserved community.

Responsibilities*
The pharmacist will support 340B Program responsibilities across for University of Michigan (UM) Health enterprise. In this role, you will:
- Work with internal and external stakeholders on advocacy and communication initiatives
- Interface with external stakeholders to resolve inquiries and disputes
- Assist with other functions as assigned by Assistant Director, 340B Program
- Provide input and suggestions for process improvements to improve the care that is provided to University of Michigan patients
Required Qualifications*
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or bachelor's degree in pharmacy with commensurate experience.
- Minimum of two years' experience in operating a complex 340B program
- Current, unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Michigan (including a controlled Substance license), or eligibility to become licensed within 90 days of employment start date.
- Pharmacist preceptor license is required following State licensure.
- A Certificate or Residency from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience are necessary
- Some experience in clinical pharmacy practice is necessary
- Some experience in didactic and clinical teaching, including undergraduate and postgraduate level courses, is necessary
- Possession of a start narcotics license is necessary
Desired Qualifications*
- 340B Apexus Certified Expert (ACE) Certification
- Ability to perform a variety of manual dexterity movements, including keyboarding; fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- The ideal candidate must be patient-centered, flexible, adaptable to change, innovative, and willing to take on tasks/responsibilities with autonomy and creativity.
