The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas

The role you'll contribute:

Clinical Pharmacist are responsible for verification of all appropriate provider orders, insuring the availability of all necessary medications, carrying out all duties associated with the FHNP Clinical Pharmacy Program and oversight of all Technician/Buyer activities and duties. Strives to maintain a highly visible and cooperative presence including direct interaction with Physicians and nurses.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Issue and order Controlled substances and maintain records as required by State and Federal Law
• Compound and dispense Pharmaceuticals, including Chemotherapy in accordance with USP and Board of Pharmacy Standards
• Respond to and follow up on daily Pharmacotherapy consults
• Carry out daily requirements for anticoagulation management, Renal dosage management, TPN formulation management, Antibiotic LOT management, Formulary substitution management, daily monitoring of all pertinent Laboratory data necessary for drug specific findings, Pharmacokinetic dosing of medications
• Monitor Provider order entry for Interactions, over/under dosing, contraindications, pregnancy and lactation, allergies and appropriateness for therapy.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• BS in Pharmacy from accredited school
• Minimum one year of Hospital Pharmacy experience
• Current State of Florida Pharmacist License
