Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center is looking for a clinically trained pharmacist to join our growing team. This position includes providing patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, on a rotating basis. Serving as the subject matter expert, the clinical specialist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and maintain clinical pharmacy services for the cellular therapy program. Beyond patient care, the pharmacist will play a significant role in the development of treatment and supportive care protocols and network policies. Additional career development opportunities include participation in disease specific tumor boards, involvement in research/clinical trials, and precepting students and residents.

Your Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
  • Your experience working in pharmacy, knowledge of treatment modalities and dedication to patient care are your most vital skills as a Clinical Pharmacist.
  • Your dedication to patient care and expertise in pharmacy will arm you with the skills necessary to thrive in a highly skilled unit.
  • You are able to communicate tactfully and effectively with patients, staff, physicians and visitors.
  • You are able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her area.
  • Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy, Bachelor or PharmD; Doctorate degree .
  • Indiana Pharmacist license, Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP), preferred.
  • You have successfully completed PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology, preferred
