Clinical Psychologist (General Internal Medicine)

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a full-time clinical psychologist to join the faculty of a strong, multidisciplinary program in a medical center academic department. The candidate will join a rich, collaborative environment with other clinicians and scientists in the Feinberg School of Medicine and throughout the University. This position is non-tenure eligible in the Clinician-educator rank and will join at the level of Instructor or Assistant Professor.

Clinical Responsibilities include providing care for outpatients with all categories of psychiatric disorders, supervision and training of students and trainees. This position is expected to take part in research in the Department of General Internal Medicine, and will include skills such as data management, data analysis, and grant writing.

Qualified candidates will have a clinical background in an outpatient setting and will have a Doctorate in Psychology with an APA approved Internship and will have research experience. Candidates that have an interest in chronically ill patients and their health management will be given special consideration.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
