The Johns Hopkins Medicine Office of Population Health (OPH) is a Johns Hopkins Health System department comprised of management and patient-facing clinical teams. With the goal of improving health outcomes for our patients and communities, we implement and optimize a strategic, innovative, and data-driven population health operating model across the continuum of care.

About this position:

The Clinical Quality Assurance Manager, is an accountable clinical operations lead, reporting to the Executive Director of Clinical Services, who works with other system stakeholders to identify, track and trend, and oversee operational and quality processes for clinical service provision. This includes development of standard work, process adherence, as well as assisting in investigating and resolving significant clinical issues, adverse patient outcomes, and other institutional patient safety and quality issues. Maintains quality assurance processes for ambulatory care management, behavioral health, community health, and ambulatory pharmacy within the scope of OPH operations.

Who Should Apply:
  1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing; Master's Degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of five (5) years of risk management, patient safety and/or quality improvement experience.
  3. Active RN licensure in the state of Maryland; with the ability to obtain additional jurisdictions as needed
  4. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or nursing practice to include NE-BC, NPD-BC, CMGT-BC preferred
