Clinical Staff Pharmacist - FT Variable Shift/Rotate Weekends

Description

The Clinical Staff Pharmacist coordinates and provides the pharmaceutical care of patients in the hospital setting.

• Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, and patients, and pharmacy students.
• Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
• Maintains adequate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software.

Bachelor's degree • Preferred X Required

Doctoral degree X Preferred • Required

Preferred - Pharm D and Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent

Valid Pharmacy license from the Commonwealth of Virginia

Minimum Work Experience
