For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!

Maine Health, Ear, Nose and Throat Care, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Leadership team. This is a supervisor position overseeing our Biddeford practice, with some travel and oversight at both our Biddeford and Scarborough locations. The selected RN will work closely with the Clinical Manager to complete day-to-day clinic needs as well as strategic planning for future initiatives and staff education and development.

This position offers a Monday - Friday, day-time schedule (between 8 am- 5pm) with weekends being free. Our ideal candidate has been in an inpatient or outpatient RN role for a minimum of 2 years' and/ or has prior leadership experience but willing to mentor new leaders.   • Position Summary
    • This position is responsible for supervising MA, RN, PSR staff within the practice.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: BSN preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Active State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure to practice in Maine. Current BLS certification.
    • Experience: 2+ years of RN experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and standards, medical procedures, tests, and clinical/clerical skills necessary to perform all functions and assist physicians. Knowledge of pharmacology is desirable.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, families, and other health care providers
    • Analytical ability sufficient to identify patients at risk and initiate appropriate action.
    • Ability to identify potential crisis situations involving patients and/or families, and to plan strategies for managing these situations when they arise.
    • Analytical ability required gathering and interpreting information necessary to resolve problems in an accurate and timely manner. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
    • Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite applications such as Word and Excel.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Proven experience in a customer service environment.
    • Skills in planning, organizing, delegating and supervising
    • Ability to maintain a professional manner even under stressful situations
