Shift : 7:30am-4:00pm/8:00am-4:30pm

The role you'll contribute:

The Practice Supervisor, Clinical is responsible for the clinical operations of their assigned Primary Care Network practice. Provides leadership to clinical team members including medical assistants, LPNs, and the like. The Practice Supervisor, Clinical will lead the clinical operations for at least 7 providers. . Responsible for favorable results related throughput, patient experience, provider and staff satisfaction, and value based care.

• Recruits, hires, and onboards team members based on mission, culture, and skills fit.

• Builds and maintains positive, effective relationships with all Physicians and APPs in their location.

• Completes operational processes that are focused on maximizing use of clinical space, ease of access to care, and patient flow.

• Assesses team members' clinical competency to complete tasks including but not limited to administering injections, drawing blood, rooming patients, and the like.

• Accountable for smooth, effective financially viable practice operations.

• Delivers on AdventHealth's team Member Promise to provide team leadership and development using TalentCare.

• Ensures workflow optimization and effectiveness for the team which includes Physicians, APPs, and staff. Leads daily, effective huddles (including Daily Management Boards) within the practice.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology and technology

• Critical thinking

• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines and address daily operational hurdles as well.

• Ability to develop positive working relationships with Physicians, APPs, staff, and all external departments that support the location.

• Highly professional with excellent customer service skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School degree, or GED, and 3 years' experience working in a medical practice environment in a clinical role.

• Or equivalent experience in a clinical role.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Associates Degree

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• Current, valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

• Current State of Florida licensure or registration as an LPN

OR

• Must be currently certified and maintain certification by one of the following:

• American Association of Medical Assistants ("AAMA") for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA)

• American Medical Certification Association ("AMCA") for Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC)

• American Medical Technologists ("AMT") for Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

• National Association for Health Professionals ("NAHP") for Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)

• National Center for Competency Testing ("NCCT") for National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)

• National Healthcareer Association (NHA) for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

• American Registry of Medical Assistants ("ARMA")
