Make a Difference

The Clinical Support Assistant initiates, assembles and maintains charts for patients. Your duties will include clerical tasks such as answering phones/call lights and relaying information/messages. You will also help assist clinical staff by frequently transporting supplies, equipment, and specimens to appropriate areas and escorting discharged patients and/or belongings to patient pick-up via wheelchair.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

The Community Way process by displaying a positive attitude, courteous manner and the interpersonal skills necessary to consistently show personal concern for the welfare of all customers. Applicants for this position should be able communicate with other departments, patients, and medical staff.

• Proficient use of telephones, fax machines, copiers and other office equipment.

• High level of attention to detail and organization.

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures.

• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Familiarity with technology and a willingness to expand knowledge base
