Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Support Coordinator RN supports high quality, patient-centered care by directing and providing feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to a new specialty. The Clinical Support Coordinator supports multiple units, providing direction, education, and accountability on the hospital's standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.

The Clinical Support Coordinator supports multiple units, providing direction, education, and accountability on the hospital's standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
What You Will Do In Your Role:
- You will perform rounds on each nursing unit, continuously observing, evaluating and assessing the quality of patient care, and identifying nursing educational needs
- You will serve as a mentor and direct support for nursing colleagues
- You will serve as an example of professional nursing practice and promote pride in nursing for the organization, the community, and the health care industry
- You will provide assistance with performing or troubleshooting specific skills, in addition, you'll identify most commonly requested skills for purposes of enhancing orientation and education
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited BSN program is required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
