CLINICAL SYSTEM COORDINATOR SURGICAL SERVICES

Responsibilities

West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. When the hospital opens it will feature:

• 150 beds
• A 37-bay emergency department
• Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites.
• Endoscopy suites
• Cardiac catheterization labs
• An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
• An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders.
• Inpatient nursing care units.

Job Description:

This position has two primary responsibilities; to maintain and troubleshoot all information systems that are used to provide operational support, scheduling, inventory and charging in Surgical Services; and to provide the financial and analytical skills

Qualifications

Shift: FULL TIME DAYS

Education:

Associates degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Management, Nursing or equivalent work experience

Experience:

One to three years of experience providing system admin functions for an information system One to three years experience working in a Surgery Department; either in inventory, purchasing or scheduling

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with reconciling charging information from one computer system to another; must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
