Job Summary



Bachelor-prepared registered nurse who is a clinical subject matter expert in pediatric and/or neonatal best practices. Partners with nursing and physician leaders to improve patient outcomes while providing cost-effective care by facilitating the initiatives of the Muma Children's Hospital. Supports the licensure, compliance, and accreditation requirements of the health system. Facilitates In-depth analysis of current best practices while acting as a liaison between the patient, nurses, and provider. Maintains a high quality of care within the area of specialty. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse by the State of Florida.
• BSN required.
• Required 5 years of nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years of neonatal ICU or pediatric clinical nursing experience
• Certification in area of specialty within 1 year of hire.
• Requires demonstrated analytical, project management, and statistical analysis skills.
• Prefer experience in quality improvement and/or statistical analysis in a hospital environment.
