Under moderate supervision, responsible for supporting infrastructure growth into public and private cloud spaces. Builds strong relationships with appropriate business units as well as other IT departments. Work with other infrastructure teams to development standards around a hybrid cloud data center model.

This position can be worked remotely with in the U.S.

This position will have a salary range of $62,424 - $115,000 based on experience and location.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Manage and support internal production server infrastructure.
• Manage and support public cloud production environment.
• Maintain operational software and tooling E.g. ServiceNow, Ansible, SharePoint, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Apache Webserver, Microsoft IIS, etc.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery processes.
• Build and support company's growth into the public cloud services.
• Develop strong relationship with the DevOps team(s) to assure best practice implementations.
• Implement automation across both public and private cloud data centers.
• Maintain processes, tools, and documentation in support related to operational environments.
• Develop processes and procedures regarding new client onboarding activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud operations engineering, network engineering, or system administration.

What would be nice for you to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Technical certification in GCP preferred.
• Developing professional expertise. Works on non-complex to moderately complex projects. Exercises judgment within
• defined procedures and practices.
• Strong experience with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including but not limited to Service Level Objectives (SLO) and Service Level Indicators (SLI), TOIL reduction, Automation and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong experience with scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell scripting.
• General experience supporting layer 2/3 networking, load balancers, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
• Systems administration (Linux and Windows).
• Experience with system and application monitoring.
• Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef.
• Willingness to learn and work with proprietary Jack Henry & Associates' software solutions.
• Excellent communication (written & oral) and organizational skills; self-motivated, hands-on, entrepreneurial.
• Customer service minded.
