Cloud Developer Sr. Advisor

Our work depends on Cloud Developer Senior Advisor joining our team to further the adoption of and migration to the cloud on the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Information Technology Services (CITS) program.

HOW A CLOUD DEVELOPER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Ensures strategic alignment with the adoption and utilization of Cloud Services that meet the Infomation Technology Management Strategy.

Works with stakeholders to provide expectation management for cloud service implementation, capabilities, and timelines.

Develops and maintains Cloud Service Roadmap

Review information technology requirements documents (ITRD) for requests for Cloud Capabilities.

Assist with the development of FINOPS to control cost.

Drives the development of governance for the Cloud.

Works with Cloud Engineers and other stakeholders to identify use cases, develop solutions, and migrate workloads to cloud infrastructure.

Helps shape the future of cloud based infrastructure in support of USCENTCOM.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, cloud computing, or related field of study.
  • Position requires Security+CE, PMP, and Cloud certifications
Required Experience:
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Experience in leading a cross-functional team
  • Experience in managing medium/large IT projects
  • Experience in the design and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases and application systems
  • Experience with the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise environments as Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI/CD tooling
Required Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of what it takes to develop, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure
  • Understanding of Cloud Technology and implementation in a hybrid/multi-cloud environment.
Security Clearance Level: TS with SCI eligibility.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to work within an agile and version controlled environment
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks

  • Power BI

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
