Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and environments for VMware Products.
- Collaborate with software development team to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipeline.
- Implementing monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the stability and performance of testing environments.
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes and enhance efficiency through automation.

Required Skills & Experience
* Previously functioned in an SRE role within a large production environment, with a focus on automation testing experience.
* Hands-on production experience with vSphere, Aria Suite, and NSX-T products
* Strong development background in vSphere APIs, Aria Suite APIs, NSX-T APIs
* Experience with customizing vSphere, Aria Suite, NSX-T deployment automation and configurations to specifications
* Knowledge of HCI bench or Xray
* Experience with Agile & JIRA in a team setting.
* Comprehensive experience across various levels of testing including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and performance testing.
* Strong documentation skills to effectively capture testing processes, methodologies, and results.
* Strong scripting/programming skills:
* Python
* Ansible
* Powershell/PowerCLI
* REST API / Swagger
Documentation: ability to write documentation for product certification, build automation, operation support, and root cause analysis
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Understanding of ITIL processes is a plus
* Hands on Cohesity / Netbackup / Avamar product experience
* Version Control (Git/Bitbucket)
* Typically requires 5+ years of software development experience with some exposure to network programming and networking protocols
Solid understanding of network concepts, load balancers, routing, subnets, firewalls
