Venture Dynamics is seeking 1st class Structural welders in Mobile, AL. Part Time position paying $18/hr and $100 per diem working 10-12/hr shifts

You must be able to pass mock up test:

Open root 1"plate V groove on a size 0.52 wire 3G and 4G positions using FCAW process

Requirements

Must be able to perform the FCAW welds above, on mock up test station.

Must be proficient in carbon arc gouging.

The individual must have working knowledge of procedures, strong mechanical aptitude and ability and be able to follow directions. The individual must possess experience in the trade; knowledge of ship terminology, blueprint reading, measurements. The individual must demonstrate ability to interpret job specifications and perform steel repairs on marine vessels.

Must be able to understand and follow directions and work with limited supervision. Must be willing to work with and train subordinates.

Must comply with Company safety rules and OSHA standards. Must be physically and medically qualified to wear required personal protective equipment as prescribed under OSHA standards.
