Advantage Resourcing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a role in Plainfield, CT. Join a company specializing in Radio Frequency Signal Distribution, switching equipment, and cutting-edge beam steering and forming equipment.

As a CNC Machinist, your primary responsibilities include setting up and fabricating machined parts and assemblies. Your essential duties will involve:

• Converting SolidWorks models into CNC programs.
• Making models.
• Creating parts from conceptual sketches.
• Developing tooling and fixtures.
• Setting up and breaking down parts runs.
• Performing routine machinery maintenance.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3:30 PM
Hourly Pay: $20-$28 (Experience-dependent)

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position must have at least 5 years of experience in machine shop tool operations and possess in-depth knowledge of CNC equipment programming, operation, safety requirements, and responsibilities. It is crucial to have proficiency in producing prototype parts from sketches, familiarity with cutting tool parameters, and expertise in working with materials such as aluminum, steel, and plastics. The role involves coordinating with external shops, therefore requiring excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, computer literacy, and the ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods while lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
