Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Shop Liaison to join a global manufacturer of mining products located in Lebanon Kentucky. This position requires the ability to set up and operate manual lathes, drill presses and small universal mills to make a variety of components and assemblies. Must be able to read and work from prints, perform set-ups and read micrometers, calipers and dial indicators. Program, set-up fixturing for CNC equipment (VTL, HBM, horizontal machining center).

Day to Day:
- Operate and program CNC Machining equipment to make and/or repair a variety of components..
- Work from prints to make a variety of components.
- Perform other assignments at the direction of departmental supervision.
- Obey all safety rules and perform housekeeping functions.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of experience with CNC Machining
o VTL = Vertical Lathe Machine (Toshiba , Akuma)
o HBM = Horizontal Boring Mills (Olympia , Gilbert)
Experience w/ G-Codes or M-Codes
Ability to edit CNC programs
Experience being a Manual Machinist
o NOT A MACHINE OPERATOR

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Ability to write G&M Programs / code from scratch
Prior experience w/ CNC Machining pertaining to engines / motors
