An aerospace client of Insight Global is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team in Joplin, MO. This individual will be working on a team ranging in size from 5-10 individuals and needs to have the ability to stand up a machine, operate independently, and monitor parts to ensure they are meeting customer specifications. This individual will be working 2nd shift (2:30PM-11:00PM Monday -Friday) and is highly encouraged to work 5-10 hours of overtime a week. Overtime hours are from 11:00PM-1:00AM.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of direct experience as a CNC Machinist

Knowledge of and experience with lean manufacturing principles

Ability to read customer specifications, blueprints, and measuring equipment

Ability to work 2nd shift (2:30PM-11:00PM Monday -Friday)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Extensive grinding CNC background

Lathe or Milling experience (or a combination of both)

Experience working on Haas or Mazak machines

Proficiency in g-code CNC programming

GD&T
