CNC Machinist, Lead - AIC

Under general supervision, must exercise knowledge to perform a variety of job duties relating to the proficient set-up of manufacturing machines including but not limited to:

• Review router to determine setup, tooling and specifications of parts
• Differentiate metals and their requirements for each part and machine.
• Perform set-up and operation of machines effectively and within specified time frames while utilizing correct machine guarding
• Ability to use comparators to ensure parts are meeting specifications
• Assist and train new operators effectively.
• Ability to troubleshoot and find resolutions
• Provide information for Inspector evaluation and validation of quality
• Adhere to all AIC company policies
• Other duties as assigned

In addition to the above, Operator will have lead responsibilities and must be maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices. This is a second (Swing) shift position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED, and certificate from a technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience is prefered
• We do provide on the job training.

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
