Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Programmer. This is a Direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering degree a plus.

What You Will Do:

We are looking for a talented manufacturing engineering technician to oversee and manage special projects. The applicant will be responsible for project planning to Include quality planning. Duties include:
  • Programming Laser Marking machines, programing Keyence Inspection machines and a Hexagon CMM using PC-DMIS. PC-DMIS.
  • The manufacturing engineering technician's responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, exploring new manufacturing methods and conformance with customer requirements.
  • Capable of performing 3 and 5 axis programming in NX. Vericut experience desired.
  • You should be able to work effectively within a team and collectively create manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. You will report to our Plant Manager.

Engineering Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for Improvement.
  • Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
  • Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
  • Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
  • Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering degree a plus.
  • Applicant should have a strong knowledge of working with Solid Works.
  • Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organization and management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High level of technical expertise.
  • Strong analytical thinker
