In the role of Manufactruing Engineer / CNC Programmer you are a Subject Matter Expert in using Lean or Six Sigma principles to optimize existing processes to ensure production of cost effective and quality products as well as being an expert in creating programs for CNC machines. This position contributes to our vision by:
• May serve as primary interface with external customers;
• Analyzes changes in customer specs in order to flow them down to manufacturing;
• Interfaces with product engineering, manufacturing leadership, and support teams to meet business unit goals;
• Inputting product designs into the computer modeling software. (G-Code/Mastercam)
• Supports standardization initiatives across business units;

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 5-8 years experience in manufacturing and/or CNC programming. Prefer Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma methods training.
• Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint) - Expert
• Ability to design CNC machine programs to produce products based on design blueprints.
• Blueprint and schematics reading - Expert
• Problem Solving, root cause analysis and corrective action - Expert
• Ability to design layouts and fixtures to aid manufacturing (AutoCAD) - Advanced
