Business Integra is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a CNO Test Engineer II for an existing government client. The place of performance is in Hanover, MD/Colorado Springs, Colorado or San Antonio, Texas

MUST HAVE TS/SCI with FS poly.

Summary:
CNO Test Engineer will be responsible for automated end-to-end system testing of capabilities for network devices. The candidate will also be developing automated test scripts using Python, Ruby or SmartBear. The CNO Test Engineer must have an understanding and knowledge of dataflow and operational tools.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for automated end-to-end system testing of capabilities for network devices.
  • Experience developing automated test scripts using Python, Ruby or SmartBear a plus.
  • Understanding and knowledge of dataflow and operational tools.
  • Devises testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure reliability of product in conjunction with product design and specifications.
  • Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
  • Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
  • Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
  • Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
  • Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. Consults with the development and/or requirements team to coordinate and test applications.
  • Performs analysis, diagnostics and preliminary evaluations of products.
  • Develop testing procedures. Develops test plans, scripts, scenarios, functional tests, regression tests, and deployment tests.
  • Implements the testing processes and ensures all test activities follow those processes.
  • Produces reports on each test activity and tracks test metrics.
  • Monitors for continual test process improvement through failure analysis, throughput analysis, yield analysis, and report to management periodically.
  • Collaborate with development teams, operators, and leadership to ensure requirements are satisfied

Required Qualification:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering or related field or discipline is required and should have at least 5 years working experience with below:
  • Experience in conducting both component and system integration level testing on complex software products.
  • Experience as a system administrator supporting computers systems running Microsoft Windows NT, UNIX, and Linux operating systems.
  • Supporting computer network hardware including, but not limited to Bridges, switches, routers, and gateways
  • Identifying and resolving network system issues with IT hardware such as repeaters, bridges, routers, gateways, and hubs and operating systems such as Microsoft Windows and Windows NT, Sun Solaris, and Linux.
  • Working experience in an IT engineering lab loading (file transfer via electronic of storage media), installing and maintaining the operability of commercial off-the-shelf computer and IT equipment and supporting software.
  • Experience with computer networking protocols including, but not limited to TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Working experience in C, C++, Perl, Python, or other scripting language.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and using personal security products including host and network-based firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Knowledge of network devices and intrusion detection systems .
