Essential Job Duties
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategy for Uhde coke plant technology and equipment in the region, including gas treatment plants
  • Identify potential sales opportunities with new prospects in the coke industry by making personal sales calls, following up on leads provided by the company, and by other prospecting methods as appropriate included but not limited to trade shows and networking events
  • Develop new and existing customers for sale of coke plant technology including refractory, coke oven machines, gas treatment plants and engineering solutions
  • New coke technology equipment proposals and presentation development in concert with home office
  • Negotiations with clients and project handover to the execution team in Germany
  • Customer Management
  • Extensive travel to develop leads, customers, and orders within the coke industry (expected travel >60%)
  • Attend regional coke industry trade shows representing tk Uhde and manage meetings that surround them

  • Ability to fly domestically I internationally, drive rental cars and navigate.

Job-related requirements (Experience, Education, Software, Certifications, Licensing)
  • 10 - 15 years in the coke plant and/or steel industry.
  • Direct sales in steel-making and/or coke plant technology/equipment (5-10 years).
  • Completed Bachelor's degree, preferred mechanical engineering or business graduates with technical affinity, but can consider
  • Experiences in sales of international B2B market for machines and/or
  • Strongly self-motivated for personal responsibility, working for solution & overcoming difficulties; highly organized and able to work independently, having strong team work mind and
  • Strong interpersonal and communication
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation
  • Flexible and entrepreneurial, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to close
  • Initiative solution-oriented way of working and
  • Computer MS office
  • Valid US Driver license and US passport
