Commercial Electrician

Lancaster county company seeking Commercial Electricians for immediate hire:

Shift/Hours- 1 st shift - Monday thru Thursday (6am - 4pm)

Friday & Saturday when OT is available.

Pay Rate- $17.00 - $24.00/hr. to start (BOE)

JOB DESCRIPTION: - install, upgrade, maintain, troubleshoot, and fix electrical systems in virtually all non-residential settings, including: Banks, Government agencies, Schools, Businesses and retail establishments, Offices, Airports, Recreation facilities, Restaurants, and Commercial construction sites

• Installation of wiring and electrical systems in new construction and some existing buildings. Ensuring all municipal codes are complied with.
• Run conduit and employ other wiring-protection measures. Making sure the power is properly and safely distributed from the power source to the main circuit breaker and throughout the building.
• Plan the electrical design and provide input in determining the appropriate placement of electrical outlets, lighting fixtures and systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-3 years of commercial wiring experience
• Knowledge of electrical circuit codes
• Experience reading blueprints
• Must be physically capable of standing for duration of shift and lifting 50 pounds consistently
• Must be able to work independently with no/little supervision
• Must have positive attitude and have the ability to work within a team
• Knowledge of basic commercial wiring methods

• Must have basic hand tools "tools of the trade"

*Journeyman's License not required, but strongly preferred.

Travel/Jobs- Majority of work done in Lanc. County - But rare work radius can be up to 80 miles from the office depending on the project (no overnight stay required at this time)
