Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Leader for our Commercial Land Development team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with management, technical experts, and construction leaders. Responsibilities include project execution, business development, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide staff in designing commercial site development projects.
- Ensure project execution in a productive and profitable manner.
- Maintain regular communication with clients.
- Uphold quality standards for all project deliverables.
- Craft fee proposals, monitor project budgets, and oversee invoicing processes.
- Formulate project work plans and scopes of work, providing project oversight and monitoring project schedules.
- Actively participate in proposal presentations and project interviews.
- Regularly interact with clients, officials, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and deliver presentations.
- Represent the company in professional organizations and networking events.
- Plan and design new construction and redevelopment sites.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, studies, technical memoranda, and other project documentation.
- Maintain regulatory knowledge within the projects jurisdiction.
- Familiarity with Zoning & Land Use Codes, Subdivision Regulations, and Design Standards.
- Manage stormwater, quantity/quality controls, and understand Best Management Practices for design and construction.
- Possess functional knowledge of sanitary sewer, water, power, gas, and telecom utilities.
- Design grading for mass earthwork, roadways, parking lots, building pads, sidewalks, and other site improvements.
- Understand ADA & PROWAG design requirements.

Additional Information:
- The ideal candidate should have experience with land development engineering, site design, and permitting for commercial projects.
- The role involves a mix of client account management and oversight of the design/technical team.
- The candidate should have a strong background in project management, business development, and team leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications (Essential Criteria):
- Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in site design and permitting for commercial projects.
- Texas PE license is required.
- Proven history of managing client expectations.
- Experience preparing construction documents including plan drawings, specifications, bid documents, and cost opinions.
- Ability to engage with clients, internal staff, contractors, and community officials.
