Special Requirements

Must possess a valid CA Driver's License as travel may be required to attend meetings, conferences, and training. Periodic statewide travel may be required to field locations that may also require overnight stay required.

Purchasing Services is looking for energetic and motivated individuals who will provide guidance and quality customer service to Department staff and management. We are seeking an individual with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze information with attention to detail. Must be able to present ideas and information effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be flexible with changing work assignments under tight time constraints. The ideal candidate is familiar with State non-IT purchasing processes; has experience with Cal eProcure, Fi$Cal; and is proficient with personal computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and other appropriate software programs. The incumbent should take initiative, exercise good judgment, and maintain consistent, regular, and predictable attendance.
