The College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Principles of Public Speaking, in-person to dual enrolled high school students. This assignment is 9:00 am to noon, from Monday through Friday in May. There is need for a qualified instructor beginning in May 2024.

This position is in person at the Downtown campus, 700 East Jackson St.

Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Communication Studies and Theatre or related field; or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Communication Studies and Theatre.
Additional Considerations
Community college and/or high school teaching experience, and experience with Canvas are preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to place an emphasis on student-centered learning. Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel
Travel among Reynolds campuses and partner sites may be needed.
