Communications Network Engineer Mid, North Island CA

An employer is looking for a Communications Network Engineer to join the team supporting the Point Loma, CA Naval Bases. Duties will include evaluating communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network-related problems. Additional duties include administering LAN/BAN/WANs, scheduling conversions and cutovers, and coordinating with all responsible u and sites. Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer-integrated networks.

Required Skills & Experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- 4+ Years with WAN/LAN/BAN administration support
- 4+ years integrating networks in a large-scale environment
- Experience implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current network solutions
- Current CCNA certification, or currently pursuing the CCNA and have the ability to receive the certification in 6 months
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Field (if no degree, 8+ years of work history required)
