About Us: At the Southeast Human Service Center (SEHSC), we are dedicated to making behavioral health care more accessible to everyone. As part of our desire to move towards becoming a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, community-based mental health and substance use services. Our mission is to drive systemic change and improve community well-being through strong partnerships and innovative solutions. We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our management team as a Liaison, working to strengthen and expand our community partnerships.

Role Overview: As the Southeast Human Service Center Community Behavioral Liaison, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission by facilitating and nurturing relationships with community stakeholders. Your exceptional communication skills and leadership abilities will be key in driving systemic improvements and ensuring our services reach those who need them most.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Collaborate with SEHSC's management team to align community engagement efforts with our strategic goals.
  • Represent SEHSC in various forums, meetings, and public events to advocate for behavioral health care accessibility.
  • Identify opportunities for partnership and systemic change to enhance the effectiveness of our services.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of community initiatives and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, sociology, medical management, nursing or business administration and two years' experience working in a human services/ behavioral health clinic or facility. OR a master's degree in one of the above fields. Prefer knowledge of community resources and services related to healthcare, social services, and mental health.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.

Location:

ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.
