This position is for a MILITARY FAMILY LIAISON

We are currently looking for a Military Family Community Liaison who will be located in the Temple, Texas region. The ideal candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following: Serve as the primary link between the facility, community, providers and region's military bases/installations. Position identifies and maximizes military referral opportunities by assessing, managing, and developing referral sources. Position communicates with military referral sources on a regular basis to ensure needs are met. Position will also make marketing presentations at military installations and community providers throughout territory to develop referral sources.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Military and Community referral account management that emphasizes consistent face-to-face contact, resulting in admissions to the facilities programs.
  • Identify and develop new military/civilian referral sources for education and awareness of clinical services provided by San Marcos Treatment Center.
  • Obtain and provide management with up to date information about changes in the market, maintain point of contact and protocol systems for each account.
  • Build and monitor perceptions of the hospital as a high quality provider of services.
  • Ability to market diligently and deal tactfully with referral sources.
  • Be available to assist Intake department with the coordination of the referral-to-admission process.
  • Represent the hospital at trade shows, networking events, educational (CEU) events, and conferences. Provide in-services and professional presentations on San Marcos Treatment Center military program, continuum of services, admissions criteria, and admissions process.
  • Full-time travel to designated territories, scheduling meetings, and developing contacts/referral sources. Maintain a required number of weekly contacts
  • Documentation requirements with UHS tracking tool and other reports, strategic plans, and other marketing projects.
  • Assist in the development of the Annual and quarterly strategis plans, tracking its progress and analyzing results under the direction of the Director of Business Development.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in counseling/social work/psychology/business administration/health care administration/marketing/nursing or equivalent military experience required.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results and a knowledge of psychiatric treatment principles preferred.

Licensure: Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Other: Excellent written and oral communication skills, frequent travel required, ability to work with a sense of autonomy, highly organized, assertive, flexible, and team oriented. Former military/first responder experience preferred.
