Team Introduction
E-commerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality. As an Community Partnership Manager, you will be an integral part of the Community Partnerships team dedicated to the growth of celebrity and influencer brands and critical sellers on TikTok Shop focused on upholding the Governance and Experience strategy through support, education, and ensuring a positive end-to-end brand experience. You will thrive on working cross-functionally to maximize presence and performance, hold high-standards and have a proven track record of effectively managing complex and high-profile engagements.

Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:

Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)
Monday, June 9
Monday, June 23

We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).

Responsibilities
- Support select influencers and celebrity brands and critical brands throughout their engagement with TikTok Shop, ensuring a positive and brand-aligned experience.
- Work to promote transparency and understanding of policies, including education, guidelines, and best practices, cultivating a strong understanding of the TikTok Shop ecosystem.
- Collaborate cross-organizationally to identify opportunities and tap into the right teams, fostering seamless coordination and execution. Working closely with teams such as Operations, Marketing, PR, Creative, Media, Events, Talent Relations, and Legal.
- Facilitate effective communication and act as an escalation point of contact and address any challenges or concerns promptly and diplomatically.
- Coordinate influencer events, managing logistics and maximizing engagement and collaboration to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for all participants.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Proven understanding of the social media landscape, platform standard methodologies, and consumer behaviors.
- Excellent judgment in managing external relationships with influencers, celebrities, agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Track record of measuring metrics and KPIs against business objectives, leveraging data for insights and opportunities.
- Strong management capabilities and getting things done themselves. Be an experienced team player who is motivated by an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to switch between creative and analytical/strategic projects seamlessly.
- Proactive mindset, offering suggestions and solutions for team efficiency and process improvement.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with influencers or celebrity brands, particularly in a social media or e-commerce setting.
- Proactive problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure a positive end-to-end experience.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with teams such as Operations, Marketing, PR, Creative, Media, Events, Talent Relations, and Legal.
- Proven ability to act as an escalation point and handle concerns diplomatically.
- Experience in planning and executing influencer events, with a focus on maximizing engagement and collaboration.
- Experience and strong interest in influencer marketing, social media platforms, or e-commerce.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support influencers and celebrities.
