Description:

The Community Relations Intern will be responsible for assisting the Director of Community Relations with a variety of tasks and activities on-site at SaberCats Stadiums and offsite events.

Duties Include:

Assist in the coordination of all Community Relations events;
Assist the Director of Community Relations with tasks including, but not limited to, emails, inbound and outbound calls, event planning, positive customer/client service, and school visits.
Working alongside the ticketing department to Identify possible groups for ticket sales (Commission to be discussed)
Providing marketing ideas to grow the game of rugby and the SaberCats brand
Promote a positive fan experience and work as a part of a creative team.

Requirements:

Pursuing a degree in a related field such as Sports Management, Communications/Community Relations, or related preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Professional appearance and positive attitude as well as demonstrating initiative;
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Ability to meet deadlines as they are presented and be detail-orientated;
Possess computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Software
Reliable Transportation.
