Role Overview: Could you be our next Community Relations Specialist Globe Life is looking for a Community Relations Specialist to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with nonprofit organizations to develop and execute Globe Life's charitable giving initiatives. This individual will build positive relationships that supports the Globe Life mission. This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).

What You Will Do:
  • Research, review, document, and present charitable giving opportunities for Globe Life and its affiliates.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations.
  • Plan, promote, and execute hands-on activities that support Globe Life's Mission.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to engage employees and agents in charitable giving initiatives.
  • Travel with Globe Life affiliates to raise funds, build engagement, and collaborate with local organizations to promote charitable giving partnerships.
  • Review all charitable giving requests to ensure they align with established guidelines and complete and submit necessary paperwork.
  • Support the Globe Life Foundation, Charitable Giving Sub-Committee, and Committee by preparing and presenting updates.
  • Support the Finance team to align monthly and annual budgets.
  • Document processes and report charitable giving impact.


What You Can Bring:
  • B.A. in Marketing, Public Relations or other relevant degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent. combination of education and experience.
  • Three years relevant work experience as part of employment history.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft and Windows.
  • Preferred working knowledge of project management, design, and proofing tools.
  • Must have strong project management skills, flexibility to shift focus to different projects depending on business demand, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Excellent time management with ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Passion to make a difference.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, team player.
  • Excellent verbal skills and ability to build relationships with various stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute projects.
  • Attention to detail and strong follow-up is a must.
