Title: Compliance Consultants
100% Remote
Overview of the role:

• Technical background in Infrastructure and Applications
• NIST 800-175 and CMMC
• Internal assessments- meeting different controls andvetting process for new applications introduced into the enviornment.This is to make sure all new technology is running through this process and ensuring the teams are meeting controls for CMMS and NIST from a compliance control standpoint.
• Tech Teams are not familiar with the compliance process/standards
• This candidate needs to understand application architecture

Candidate Profile:
MUST HAVES:

• Candidates who are stronger on the Apps side- has team members that are infra resources. Consultants are just making sure they are compliant, not doing application testing
• Developer background is ideal butany application type support experience is good
• Candidate who is balanced technically and personality
• They have plenty of compliance experts, but they are missing someone that can mentor/educate the teams going through the compliance process and helping them get their technology approved by compliance.
• Example: This process should take about a month- Middleware is taking over 9 months to get through compliance. Teams are not speaking each other's language and Steve is having to mentor them on how to do this.
• Load balancers, firewalls, homegrown applications and package applications- the wider amount of knowledge from a technology standpoint the better as ALL technology runs through this "vetting" process.

NICE TO HAVES:

• No certifications are required- most have a CISSP
• DOD or Military background or contracted with the Military (this is a preference). Performed technical duties (retired Airforce) compliance related work in the military.
