The Manager-SEO Compliance Officer is responsible for the successful development, implementation, and oversight of compliance functions for the organization, including but not limited to ministry providers, regulatory, audits, and compliance programs. This role supervises and provides guidance to compliance team members across the organization to ensure effective and consistent program implementation. This position may also serve as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for an assigned ministry. The CCO assists in communicating the initiatives of the System Compliance Plan to ministry staff and is responsible for staying abreast of applicable laws and regulations. The CCO has the authority to effect change through a reporting relationship to the System VP & Chief Compliance Officer, Ministry Board of Directors, and Ministry senior management.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field is required.

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field and/or Juris Doctorate is preferred.

Experience

5+ years of progressive health care compliance experience is required.

At least 3 years of progressively more responsible leadership experience is required.

Experience with and understanding of the regulatory environment (Federal Sentencing Guidelines, Office of Inspector General (OIG), etc.) and relevant compliance standards is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), Certified in Healthcare, or related certification is preferred.
