Components Testing Design Engineer

Akkodis is recruiting for an Electronics Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This is an onsite contract position with a pay rate of $43-$50 an hour.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Specify, design, test, setup, and verify electronics products/components by using product drawing and schematics and components data sheets.
• Knowledge using DMM, oscilloscope and determining test set up for product and component type testing.
• Support requirements management throughout product lifecycle to ensure compliance.
• Generate clear and complete documentation in line with standards and procedures.
• Collaborate within the Electronics sub-function to problem-solve and deliver project outcomes.
• Support preparation for technical design and verification reviews.
• Raise technical risks and issues and support with their analysis and resolution.

Required Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelors Electronics Engineering Technologydegree
• 3 years of simple test design experience and circuit checkout..
• Experience of producing conceptual electronic designs.
• Developing understanding of PCB design concepts.
• Understanding of electronic digital or analog design.
• Ability to generate clear documentation.
• Knowledge of using and setting up a curve tracker, oscilliscope, test set up.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $50.00 per hour
