Description

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Conflicts of Interest and Ethics Compliance Specialist to work on our team. This position can be based in Idaho Falls or remotely in most locations within the United States with regular travel to Idaho Falls.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the delivery of conflicts of interest and ethics support services and resources to employees, organizations, and stakeholders in compliance with program and laboratory requirements.
  • Provide expertise and input on the conflicts of interest and ethics program, including policies and objectives, program documentation, compliance requirements, training materials, process improvement and automation, and education and communication when tasked by management.
  • Offer guidance and support in response to inquiries regarding personal and organizational conflicts of interest from employees, stakeholders, and management.
  • Offer guidance and support in response to inquiries regarding standards of conduct and business ethics inquiries from employees and management.
  • Identify current and emerging risks relevant to the program and use innovative approaches to develop solutions and address problems within established policy.
  • Monitor compliance environment and aide in driving changes to INL's conflicts of interest and ethics programs including ensuring continuous adherence to program requirements.
  • Work with cross organizational stakeholders to assess compliance with conflicts of interest and ethics compliance requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of conflicts of interest and ethics program metrics, data, and activities.
  • Generate and deliver required reports and communications regarding conflicts of interest and ethics matters.
  • Remain current with pertinent state and federal privacy laws.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Level 3: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience OR Master's degree/PhD/JD and 2+ years of experience
  • Level 4: Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience OR Master's degree and 6+ years of experience OR PhD/JD and 4+ years of experience


Job Information:

  • The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($75,804 - 155,496) / Level 4 ($91,008 - 186,588). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
