Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager with Project Management experience to oversee construction projects for our Chemical facilities in the East St. Louis and Indianapolis Region. This role requires 90% travel within the area.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage construction projects, develop project plans, monitor progress, and mitigate risks.
  • Supervise construction activities, ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct site visits, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost control.
  • Lead and mentor on-site project teams, conduct regular meetings with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, liaise with regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain project documentation, provide status updates to senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implement safety programs.


Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Construction Management, ideally within the chemical, industrial, or similar sectors.
  • Proven expertise in Project Management, encompassing budget oversight and resource allocation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the region (90%)

Preferred:
  • PMP or CCM Certification
  • Experience with Chemical Processing or Industrial Facility construction projects.
  • Familiarity with Lean Construction principles and methodologies.
