Summary
We are looking to add a Project Engineer to our CM Team. The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager in ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and on schedule. The Project Engineer will provide technical and engineering support to the project team and is responsible for the primary coordination between the project teams, engineering, quality control, procurement, and subcontractors for multiple scope packages.
This role will be onsite in Bloomington, IN.

We are looking to add a Project Engineer to our CM Team. The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager in ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and on schedule. The Project Engineer will provide technical and engineering support to the project team and is responsible for the primary coordination between the project teams, engineering, quality control, procurement, and subcontractors for multiple scope packages.
This role will be onsite in Bloomington, IN.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages/coordinates multiple trade subcontractors and jobsite logistics.
- Conducts daily safe behavior observations.
- Ensures schedule, logistics plan, and trade coordination considers safety.
- Ensures detailed coordination drawings are produced and circulated amongst the project team, including all major subcontractors/consultants.
- Read/interpret engineered drawings and understands construction means/methods.
- Maintain records: daily filed reports, RFI's, observations.
- Conducts constructability reviews.
- Aid in the assembly of weekly/monthly reports to the client.
- Assist Management with the review of subcontractor invoices and change orders.
- Perform quality control functions as assigned.
- Coordination of all turnover documents
- Support project scheduling.
- Records meeting minutes for internal and external teams
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MEP background preferred
- Life Sciences background a plus
- OSHA 30
- Excellent verbal, written and communications skills.
- Ability to read and write technical documentation.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities. Uses time efficiently.
- Highly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiative.
- This position will work in an office, or construction site.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Deltek, Procore, Bluebeam, NavisWorks.
