Construction Project Manager Material Logistics, Energy

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Materials Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team, contributing to the successful execution of a major capital construction project. In this role, you will provide essential oversight and client support for high-risk deliverable project packages involving critical vendors. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing vendor facilities, processes, and procedures, as well as offering expertise and support to various teams within the organization.


Responsibilities

• Develop and execute logistics plans for construction projects, including scheduling and routing of deliveries
• Manage inventory levels and implement control procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs
• Oversee transportation and fleet management to optimize routes and schedules
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations for all logistics operations
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on logistics performance and challenges
• Supervise a team of logistics coordinators and site staff, fostering a collaborative work environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, construction management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in varying environments
• Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 50%) as needed, often on short notice
