Key Responsibilities:
• Estimate Preparation: Develop comprehensive and accurate estimates for commercial construction projects using historical data, blueprints, and specifications.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze project requirements, materials, labor costs, and other factors to determine project budgets and ensure competitiveness in the market.
• Bid Management: Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and tenders in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
• Project Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for project management, collaborating with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Budget Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify variances for timely corrective actions.
• Schedule Management: Create project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress for timely completion.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate project risks, providing recommendations to mitigate potential impacts.
• Client Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 5 years in estimating for commercial construction projects preferred.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and MS Office Suite.
• Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and processes.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Project Management: Proven track record of managing projects $5M+.
• Regulations: Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
