The Scheduler role is to coordinate and lead the project planning and scheduling activities for DCD projects. This includes performing coordination and scheduling compliance work in collaboration with GC in the field, ensuring there is consistency and alignment with corporate master scheduling discipline.

50% Engaging/reviewing schedule for contractors regarding adherence to specifications & 50% looking for schedule conflicts/challenges, providing guidance on mitigating risks related to schedule performance. Keeping project management well-informed for any complications with schedule.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

1. Facilitate the development of a detailed project schedule along with project team and contractor input.

2. Develop and improve status collection process to ensure quality progress reporting.

3. Proactively analyze project schedules including comparing cost/resource curves to actuals, tracking float consumption, and change order impact analysis to ensure contractor is compliant with scheduling specification.

4. Validate schedule updates along with a narrative for submission to the project team and Microsoft stakeholders

5. Identify and mitigate threats to the project's schedule goals and initiate corrective actions through field staff as necessary

6. Interface with site management regarding critical schedule activities, change, impacts to schedule, change orders, project progress, and claims analysis

7. Provide final review of schedules for estimating as requested.

8. Facilitate the team in revising logic for schedule compression, forensic analysis to identify cause and effect of delay and reporting

9. Analyze resource loading and adjust the schedule or initiate corrective action as appropriate

10. Participate in the scheduling portion of Project Reviews, as required

11. Provide information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule

12. Work with Master scheduling to assess impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages. Work with master scheduling and the established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules and keep the project team fully informed of information

13. Effectively communicate impact analysis for potential delays and changes to project team

14. Manage change orders, requests for information and updates to project scheduling specific documents

15. Understand all contract requirements relating to the project schedule and be the voice for identifying when scope / execution is not aligned to contract terms

16. Interpret project team needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests with regards to project schedule

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of Construction Scheduling experience

Construction Data Center Experience

Experience with managing complex schedules and foreseeing conflicts and being able to move deadlines/schedules

Must be able to move quickly, articulate problems, and problem-solve with contractors to solve these challenges

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Associates/Bachelor's degree
